My Work
During my internship at Mediar Therapeutics in Boston, Massachusetts, I worked part-time as a data scientist intern. Mediar Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing medicines for lung, liver, and kidney fibrosis. One of my main tasks was to utilize the coding language R to develop an application. This app aimed to sort and visualize large RNA sequencing datasets, facilitating scientists’ experimental analysis of gene expression.
As a volunteer at Green Pyramid Energy in Pune, India, I contributed to various projects. Green Pyramid Energy specializes in water technology, particularly utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) and wireless equipment for water management. I developed a program to calculate the depth of water storage tanks using sound and frequency analysis. Additionally, I worked on concepts for robotics aimed at improving image quality in training datasets by removing blurred images and duplicates.
During my time at the British International School of Boston (BISB) from August 2021 to June 2026, I pursued my education through the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and later the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Achieving high academic success, I maintained a 4.50 GPA with all A* grades during my sophomore year, demonstrating excellence in an accelerated mathematics course. In previous years, I consistently obtained high grades, including a 4.50 GPA in freshman year.
In terms of academic accomplishments, I have received several awards at science fairs, including first place in the Boston/Region VI STEM Fair Middle School Science & Engineering Fair, and honors from the Massachusetts Middle School Science and Engineering Fair. These achievements reflect my dedication to scientific inquiry and innovation.
